ℹ 2. Description of Service
Kalachakra is a digital observatory for Vedic astronomy and Jyotish calculations, providing interactive star charts, Panchang data, time cycles, and AI-powered reflections. The Service is currently operating in public beta, and features are subject to update or modification.

The calculations, charts, and interpretations provided by Kalachakra are strictly for educational, cultural, and personal reflection purposes only.
- Nothing provided on the Service constitutes medical, psychological, financial, or legal advice.
- Do not make significant life, career, health, or financial decisions based solely on app content or astrological interpretations.
- The Service is not a substitute for a licensed professional in any field. Always consult qualified professionals for critical life matters.
ℹ 4. AI-Generated Content
Features such as Sutradhara and Jīvātmā personalized readings are generated in part using Google Gemini AI models:
- AI-generated content is statistical and interpretive, not produced by a licensed astrologer, priest, or counselor.
- AI summaries may occasionally contain errors, omissions, or non-traditional interpretations and are explicitly labeled as AI-generated within the app.
- Deterministic astronomical calculations (planetary positions, Tithi, Nakshatra, Dasha) are computed directly by the astronomical engine and verified against reference ephemerides separately from the AI text generation.
ℹ 5. Accounts and Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. When signing in with Google, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account. Visitor mode operates entirely within your browser local storage with no cloud backup or account synchronization.
ℹ 6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the Service. Prohibited activities include:
- Any unlawful activity or violation of applicable laws.
- Reverse engineering, scraping, or automated mass data extraction.
- Submitting abusive, threatening, or malicious feedback or Sutradhara prompts.
- Reselling, redistributing, or commercial exploitation of chart content without explicit written permission.
- Circumventing rate limits, security boundaries, or authentication controls.
ℹ 7. Subscriptions and Payments
Premium subscription tiers are currently in development and not yet active. When introduced, clear terms and pricing will be presented prior to purchase. Free-tier features will remain accessible.
ℹ 8. Intellectual Property
The application interface, design system, source code, and original software commentary are owned by Kalachakra Digital Observatory. Classical Jyotish texts and astronomical algorithms referenced remain public domain heritage. Your personal birth chart data and saved profiles belong entirely to you, with full export capabilities available via Settings → Account & Data.
ℹ 9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely infallible, despite rigorous verification against reference ephemeris charts.
ℹ 10. Limitation of Liability
Kalachakra Digital Observatory shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service, including reliance upon astrological calculations or AI-generated interpretive content.
ℹ 11. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service following any modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any legal disputes arising in connection with the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
